10/12 studies show women are perpetrators more often than men.
Must be those asshole men again. Forcing these women to commit assault against their will. /s

Does anyone know where this screenshot was sourced from?

Yeah, umm, click the picture. It is a link to the pdf.

That’s so fucking obvious, why didn’t I think of that? thanks for the info though.

NP.

I kind of don’t want to reblog this, because I don’t want to trigger any hate from anyone, but I feel like people should see

Public awareness is KEY. Especially since for the past 50+ years, the American public has been told ad infinitum that women are victims, except for extremely rare cases, and men are the perpetrators  except for extremely rare cases. The crux of the matter is that women and men are equally perpetrators and victims of domestic violence. And yet, there are still policies and laws (VAWA anyone?) that encourage police to arrest and jail the man whenever they respond to domestic violence calls, regardless of who started it or who called the police.
Thank you for reblogging (and if you get any hate, send it my way, I do not mind).

Another source for my collection thank you oratorasaurus, you’re a benefit to society as always.

Thanks for throwing up this article. I’ll be sure to read it later. I wonder if there have been any feminist responses to it.
